United Way
“Mission Possible” was the theme for the 2006 United Way Campaign. CDS Global encouraged employees to accept their mission and help the United Way monetarily or with their time. This year’s campaign set a goal of raising $200,000. CDS Global employees from all locations surpassed that goal and raised $280,032 with over 60 percent of employees participating. CDS Global also increased the number of leadership givers (those who gave $1,000 or more individually or in conjunction with their spouse) by 13.
To kick off this year’s United Way Campaign, 51 CDS Global Day of Caring volunteers visited the Easter Seals of Iowa Camp Sunnyside on Sept. 12. The CDS Global volunteers did yard work, painted, cleaned and performed other maintenance projects.

The CDS Global Community Contribution Committee, or C4, was formed to review requests for funding and recommend disbursement to charitable organizations in each of the communities in which CDS Global operates. The group's mission is to contribute to the vitality of the communities in which CDS Global is located by providing support to deserving organizations.
In 2001, C4 implemented a scholarship program for graduating high school seniors. The committee awards several $750 scholarships annually to students of CDS Global employees based on merit and community involvement. |
