DES MOINES, Iowa – June 4, 2008 – Malcolm Netburn, chairman and CEO of CDS Global, delivered a presentation on changes in the magazine fulfillment industry at the City and Regional Magazine Association’s (CRMA) Annual Conference on June 1 in Memphis, Tenn.
As part of a panel discussion, Netburn presented The Changing Face of Fulfillment, which offered insights on navigating the ever-changing landscape of magazine publishing and fulfillment. Netburn outlined for attendees how increased competition in niche content markets, the growing number of content delivery methods, new business challenges, emerging customer trends and advancements in technology are all changing the way publishers work with both their customers and their fulfillment providers.
“Industry trends and direction have resulted in significant changes to requirements for publishers,” says Netburn. “The changes that publishers are facing also bring changes for their fulfillment providers. This gives us an opportunity to forge collaborative and consultative strategic partnerships that will enhance customer relationships and allow us to stay ahead of the industry through innovation and service.”
Throughout the presentation, Netburn emphasized the team effort between publishers and fulfillment providers to enhance customer relationships and lead innovation. By acting as one entity, publishers and their partner providers can drive customer interaction through multiple channels, increase revenue and lead the industry with revolutionary ideas and successful implementation.
