Each year, CDS Global holds three seminars for clients to attend. FACTS Seminars are held in the spring and fall, while our Strategic Partner Seminar is held every summer. These events give clients an opportunity to get better acquainted with CDS Global staff and learn more about CDS Global services. |

Strategic Partner Seminar |
 |
The CDS Global Strategic Partner Seminar is held every August in Des Moines, Iowa. This annual CDS Global event includes informational sessions led by CDS Global and industry professionals. In addition, CDS Global clients are invited to select from a host of fun and recreational events providing other networking opportunities. |

Fulfillment and Circulation Training Seminar (FACTS) |
 |
FACTS is for clients who are new to the circulation industry or new to CDS Global. The seminar is held each spring and fall. It is most beneficial for those clients with at least six months of experience this way you have a basic knowledge of circulation and your position and can easily learn how CDS Global fits into the process.

The next FACTS session will be held Oct. 7-9 at the Sheraton in West Des Moines, Iowa.

No matter what your role in the circulation industry, attending a FACTS session helps you see the big picture fitting the pieces of the circulation and fulfillment industries together. |

- CDS Global staff members present sessions on many aspects of the SERV system.
- Learn job-specific material, such as which CDS Global report to use when looking for certain circulation or fulfillment data.
- Obtain knowledge on general industry topics, for example, what to consider when designing a mailing package.
- Participate in discussion sessions led by a CDS Global staff member to help you apply what you've learned.
- Gain insight on how the entire circulation and fulfillment cycle influences your position.

FACTS History |

In spring 1984, CDS Global held its first Management Advisory Board (MAB) meeting where the idea of having a training program for clients was discussed. Members of the board told CDS Global that there wasn't any place for their people to go to learn about magazine fulfillment and circulation. The client members of the board explained that because CDS Global worked every day in fulfillment and circulation, and had quality contact with several clients, its people had developed a unique expertise in this field. Clients said that if CDS Global would set up a training program, they would send their people to CDS Global to learn about the industry. |

The first session of FACTS was presented on Nov. 10, 1984, with 13 clients attending. FACTS has been presented every spring and fall since then. |
 |
More than 1,000 CDS Global client representatives have attended FACTS. Many of those have since moved up within their company and have sent members of their staffs to the seminar. |
